Weird behavior?

Ive noticed in the mornings that my cham Louie seems to be up and awake from an hour to a few hours earlier than he should be Is this normal? Also, could it be why he goes to sleep a little while before i turn the lights off?

any window nearby Louie?
Even without it, chameleons often sense the real sunlight hour.
Both of my chameleon, get to their resting spot around 4 and start sleeping at 5 - 5.30 pm (regardless of the lights).

Yes.. Mine do the same..
Even with the lights on.. they will go to sleep.
But, always at the same hour.

BocaJan will become famous soon enough
7 pm mine all are ready for bed. They may keep their eyes open until 8 because they are by windows, but I turn the lights off at 7. (They get turned on at 7am).

Yep, i find that throughout the year it may be necessary to slightly change their lighting schedule to better accommodate them As long as you don't see him sleeping throughout the day, everything is a-ok!

Funny that today i talked to Liddy that all their chameleons start to sleep at 4 pm (off course mine as well since they come from Kammerflage).
