Webcam stream Baby Veileds Hatching

Dez

Chamalot Chameleons
Well we have some very special baby veileds hatching this morning

These are special because they are GREAT GRAND CHILDREN of my very first chameleon Daigan and Kira ..and GREAT GRAND CHILDREN of our forum's Luie and Camille (who belonged to Jannb.)

So far 5 are out. I have a webcam live stream going just like I did when these guys daddy hatched about 2 years ago!

The Livestream is here (and yes they make you watch lame ads )

http://ustre.am/Fskx

The webstream is not the greatest quality so I will be posting youtube videos later as well.. here is the first baby out if the webstream doesn't work for you

Great video, thank you for sharing. :) That little baby is so sweet, and seeing the movement of the other little guys in their eggs was very cool! Thank you for sharing.

Too cool, seeing the first one come out and the others starting to nose their way out!!!! So exciting!!!! How many eggs are there?

I give my females sand and soil mixture to lay eggs in. then I incubate them in perlite (the white stuff)

Thank you, that seems to be what I'm reading mostly. Do you have an approximate ratio you use? I haven't found any that state much towards that.

Awesome :D

I'm really enjoying the live stream, and the video is also excellent. Thanks for setting that up and sharing with the community.

I'm so excited!

Dez the web cam and video are both just totally awesome. I really hated to have to go to work today and miss the great grand's hatching. How many are out now?

Im counting egg shells because its easier to count than all these moving babies. 25 so far.

I took the cam off the eggs and put the lid back on. Seemed like the remaining pipped eggs where drying out a little and I don't want the rest of the babies to have trouble getting out.

But I put the cam on the babys in the bin so you can still see them walking around

21 eggs total left to hatch 14 of those have pipped

so I guess this clutch was 46

That's a good size clutch! I'm still watching the web cam and looking at their picture. They are so adorable and the little flat heads with no casque yet. I just love them all! :)

Soooooooooooooo many babies! They are all so active. I finally turned the lights out on them so maybe they will go to sleep. Ill have to set them up in a proper bin tomorrow.

I will try to see how many boys and how many girls. 5 eggs are left and 4 of them are pipped. I expect them to be out by morning

Very interesting to see them pip the egg. Also cool to see that little guy climb out and then finally notice you and freeze.:DThanks for posting.

I love the photos! They are the cuties little one. :) I can't believe they are already eating. They will be growing in no time with those crickets.
