Water quality in showers
We are living in the suburbs where the water is pretty clean and I use clean water for spraying but obviously shower my cham in the regular shower. We are moving a college city where the water comes out gray/mineral-like. Do I have to stop showering her? She does not drink while in the shower, just sits.

I must admit, if its fit for a human to bath in/naturally swallow, im sure it will be fit for a chameleon.
They gray color, is this when its hot? I dont think it will be anything to worry about. |

After moving to a new house, I realize that the water is hard. I have never again put my chameleon in the shower. To compensate the shower thing, I put him in a small cage outside and fill a hand pumped spray bottle with filtered water and pump away. We have a horrible water condition here in several state. While most countries already banned the use of Fluoride in the tap water, we are one of the country in the world that are still using it. That's why some members here use Reverse Osmosis Filter system. |
