I took this video during feeding yesterday. This girl is what I would consider my most successfull rescue. It wasn't an incredibly difficult case as her only real health issue when I got her was dehydration and a minor burn on her casque that was almost healed. She had been dropped of at a local pet store in bad shape... And they called me. I took her off their hands and I am pleased to say that she has turned into a quite the Sexy Looking Veield!

My goal is to keep her from producing an infertile clutch for the next8-10 months... I want to mate her to my new Baby boy Lombardi as soon as he is old enough for some hanky panky.

*Note: In order to get optimal lighting for the vid I had to scoot her lighting closer to the back of the cage where her basking perch is... Normally it is farther to the center of the cage to her provide proper distance from the lights.

Haha! Yeah this girl is an absolute pig. She wil NEVER turn any food! Worms Roaches Crickets... She goes for them all as soon as they are in sight, and she would eat forever if I didn't cut her off. I actually witnessed her do something the other night that I had I never seen in any of my other chams... Before lights out there was a fly buzzing around her cage and she shot and snagged that thing out of the air!!! I had always wondered if they do that.

This girl will see me making my rounds with the feeders and she will be waiting by the cage opeining just staring at me waiting for her food. She has such an awesome little personality.
