Has anyone been having issues with USPS shipments? Not only have my shipments to people been taking longer than normal, but now they have messed up my order from mulberry farms. My package of silk worm chow and butterworms shipped on Monday and I still do not have it.....why you might ask....well it arrived here in San Antonio 2 days ago, but then they shipped it to Corpus Christi. Today it says is left the sort facility there to head BACK to San Antonio!!!! WTF?!?!? How is this OK? I also sent some hornworm eggs to someone in California and the package sat in Los Angeles for 2 days before they delivered it! 2 DAYS!! Seriously you cant do business like that.

i work for usps right now is major flow of traffic for all packages going through not only ours but other companies as well. somethings get scanned and sometimes it does not if you want it in a hurry go priority if you made sure you had the right weight on it that could also be an issue cause if its more your customer is going to pay for the extra weight also depends on area if it can get there by truck it will for 2-3 day shipments if its from coast to coast its going by air so thats why sometimes it takes longer. certain packages take priority over others. hope this helps out some if not always use a delivery confirmation also what time did you drop it off or have it picked up?????

usps is getting crazy. i had ordered 1k crickets on ebay on tuesday....they never updated the tracking info other than "received processing information" so i had no idea when they were going to get here...they came on friday AFTER i left to run errands..by the time i got home, 900 of them were dead. and the guy wont replace them.

My packages are always shipped priority with tracking. No matter whether I shipped it or ordered from someone, there is always an issue. Tracking isn't updated for days, gets sent to incorrect locations, sits in sorting facilities etc. I haven't had a priority package make it in less than 5 days in along time. My order from mulberry farms was also priority and the issue is USPS sent it to the wrong location. Its been 5 days and now my worms may be dead.

The holiday shipping rush has begun, and from now until after the first of the year, delays and exceptions are going to be higher than normal.

At ShipYourReptiles, we actually start our "Don't Ship" period on December 12th this year (ending Jan 2nd). As a FedEx service, shipments after that date are more likely to be delayed, misrouted or otherwise miss their Overnight delivery times.

The risk to a live reptile shipment becomes too great during this period.

The USPS is going to be even more congested and delayed, and starting now. It is a predictable situation each xmas holiday, and it can be challenging to deal with, especially with shipments that must be sent out, like regular feeder shipments.
