Usps?

I didn't know where to put this so feel free to move it. :)
I have some dubias being shipped USPS Priority and I haven't had an update from them in 2 days and it shipped on the 8th. Has anyone had experience with Live shipping through USPS? are they just really bad at updating their tracking info? How long can I have 2 25 count cups of dubia in transit before I start seeing losses?

I'll bet my bottom dollar it will be delivered today. Most Priority mail packages i have ordered came in on the 3rd day (even thought they say 2-3 days). Fact is, the Postal Service has soo many cut-backs due to loss of business from a combo of cheaper/equal competition and e-mail/web data transfer. I have seen a drop in the quality of their service.

I'm pretty sure the "tracking" you got is just delivery confirmation. Meaning it won't be updated until it's delivered. In the case it's not delivered, you can take that up with your shipper for a replacement or refund because there is proof that you did not receive the shipment.

As far as the Dubias. They are pretty hardy granted the temps are good and the container is vented. They usually die when your Cham/s eat them.

I'm more worried about them getting too hot because being from montana I jsutt assumed that it would be cold and had a heat pack shipped with them and now its in the mid 70's. And thanks for the reply! I'm glad to hear that it's more of a not updating thing than my package having spent 2 days in San Diego.

I did get a tracking thing not just a delivery thing but whatever as long as theyre hearty I'm not too worried.

Yea the heat might be an issue. I did read a heat pack that it heats up to 130*.. I know Dubias can be perfectly cumfortable in the highhh 90s!

Is it a tracking # similiar to this? If so. You can track on USPS.COM , but it will only show departure scan and deliver scan. I don't remember seeing any info on middle stops.

For anything to get to me no matter where it comes from it always takes 4 days but whenever I ship something somewhere else it only takes 3 so I'd bet you'll get em' on the 3rd

I agree, sometimes they do not update it every stop. Recently, I have checked tracking, and it changed estimated delivery time ahead, and stated........Well hell, I can't remember exactly what it said now. HAHA, Something along the lines of your delivery has been moved forward due to early processing.

I really want these roaches to come today, I thought i was dreading it but now im actually quite excited,

A heat pack will raise the temps inside the box by about 10 degrees, so they should be fine.

I got my roaches from Laurie in northern Montana weather was freezing everyday and only a couple died and it took 4 days so I think yours will be fine sucks having to wait though!

I'm super jazzed.

And how long do heat packs last?? Concerned because yesterday was hot but today's a little brisk.

Roaches love hot weather. Mine love it when the temps in their bin are 95-100. they breed like crazy.

mine are doing the same. THey should be ok, sometimes i take mine off the heatpad, I get some moisture from the pad.
