How do you get rid of the messages on the user profile?

Hi Dean
You can turn off visitor messaging on your profile by using your control panel options. You can also limit visitor messaging to only members on your contact/friend list. Control Panel => Edit Options http://www.chameleonforums.com/profi...do=editoptions

How do you delete current visible messages. I have one from chameleon nation and jejton that I don't want to see . Thanks for you help.

Only moderators and you can see the visitor messages you have deleted in your profile.
Members have the ability to moderate their profile and visitor messages. The reason members are not given the ability to completely delete these messages is that moderators and administrators need to have reference to posts that break forum policy. It would be easy to hide these deleted messages from the member who deleted them, but that takes away from the self moderated profile. This is something currently under consideration. |
