Uroplatus lineatus Hatchling

Finally hatched my first uroplatus gecko today it was a lineatus "lined leaf tail gecko for those not familiar. Not the best pic , but I was pretty thrilled when I seen her. Figured Id share it here as well. Thanks for looking Jack

thank you. She made my day. I was super excited when I seen her in the little tote. I will get some better pictures today. Hopefully she will be fully cleaned up. Possibly she could have a sibling hatch tonight.
 
these weren't to bad as they were LTC and in good shape. I can't speak for fresh imported lineatus. I guess it all depends on the shape they arrive in.

With CITES limiting export to 63 I believe for 2012 I don't think there will be all that many coming around and if they do hopefully they are in good condition. Which might be asking a lot for what they go through.

Which is another reason I am not feeling too comfortable doing so. I want to start a gecko project that won't be a waste of time and money. So far, geckos didn't fit my cup-of-tea, and the only type I think may be satisfactory for me are Day Geckos.

Few pictures I took tonight. I did lose the clutch mate the same night that she hatched. On a good note I got 2 more fertile eggs from the mom today. As well as 16 Uroplatus sikorae eggs incubating.
