Trioceros montium

My newly acquired trio of T. montium. I have been wanting to keep this species for a couple of years now. They must be the most thirsty chameleon species Ive ever kept, they just cant get enough to drink! I know they come in dehydrated but even after a week its the same. Also, despite what Ive read about them being shy, mine dont have a shy scale on them! They are amazing. Seems that both of my females came in gravid because once they saw the male they instantly turned very dark and had bright speckles all over and did the rocking back and forth dance they do when unreceptive, so lets hope for viable eggs:D

Ill shut up now, here are the pics...

Very nice! :) I really would like to organise to get a trio for myself into South Africa sometime. They are top on my list of chameleons to keep.

How much would you pay for a trio like yours there in the U.S?

Also I hope your females do produce viable eggs :) Dont forget to keep updating!

Hows the bradypodions doing so far? Any attempts at breeding the pumilum or anything else?

I paid $225 for the trio. Havent introduced the bradys to each other yet, I want to let them be fully mature and grown before I do. Hopefully Ill be getting some more of them also with this shipment Im bringing over from Europe in November.

Awesome man! Put me on the list!! Would you mind coming over and planting several terrariums for me?!? ;) They look great bro!

Uber  Always liked their 'spots' and highlights. Very nice looking lizards you got there. Nice set up too. :D

Montiums are also one of my favorites! Your enclosure is just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing those pictures. Ruth

Thanks, I LOVE creating miniature habitats for them and want to make them look as natural as possible with a good variety of plants and branches in them, so they feel more at home (if thats even possible) and so they are very aesthetically pleasing. I kinda have an obsession with plants and landscaping, wherever I go I am always looking at both:)
