The countdown starts now!!!

Sometime towards the end of May I'll have 1.1 Trioceros johnstoni, from the local bwindi. I just reserved my pair from Showjet85. I’m super excited.
Since this is a new and rare blood line in the US, it would be nice to track as many of these as possible.

How many other CF members are also getting a t.johnstoni pair?

Not ordering a pair was my strongest display of self restraint in the past decade...

Good luck with yours and post lots of pictures!!!

I have a pair coming as well. Nice idea on keeping tabs on who has them. We can stay in touch concerning how they are being kept, etc...

Plan on sealing the deal on 2.2 in a couple of days if they are still available. Invested in another project today(prior commitment), so I have to wait:(

How are you planning to get the night time temp drop to mid 60s or lower during the summer? Just curious if others are planning ahead for this.

I have started looking in to window a/c units and to see if they will cool off the Bwindi room enough. Its the only viable idea I have regarding the drop so far.

Such a beautiful chameleon, I wish everyone the best & that these imported pairs help bring up captive populations of sucha kool species of chameleon

In my case I have my Chams in a separate room which in essence is a portion of a three car garage that was 'finished' and insulated all around. Still, Temps in the room can get to the mid 80's without control.

To that point, I have purchased an additional 14K BTU portable AC (see link below) to function in the room. I am currently working on a programmable thermostat that can maintain a max of 74ish in they day time and then drop some at night. There are probably 8-10 weeks in the year for me where it will be a struggle (late July through mid September) although I still believe that I can maintain a cool enough overall temp.

I am starting here and see how things work out.
