Chameleon staple feeders

As of right now I have only been feeding my chameleon crickets for his first month of me having him.

I have come to the conclusion that this isn't going to cut it so I need to order more feeders.

The problem I'm having is deciding how many to order and what his feeding scedule should be.

I am planning on ordering
500 1/8 crickets
500 mealworms (leo gecko) (as a treat)
Hornworms (need help on how many)
Silkworms (same as above)
10-25 butterworms (he needs to bulk up)

I need an example of what a weekly feeding scedule should be like. I wish I could order a lot of silk and horn worms but they are expensive just for like 25

Any input would help me

I'd feed him all that he wants until he reaches 6 to 8 months old. A variety of well gutloaded feeders is always best. When you buy hornworms make sure to get egge. Horns grow super big really fast. If you are in the US contact Linda at lindasgonebuggy.com and have her fix you up a baby box. She sales value packs with 4 or five different feeders for like $20. Below is my blog for how I recommend keeping young veileds. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blo...-with-young-veiled-or-panther-chameleons.325/

You could get him one of those. Normally I wouldn't recommend mealworms and wax worms are high in fat but since you say he's skinny wax worms should be ok for awhile. I also recommend a fecal to check for parasites. Parasites can keep them skinny.

Ok sounds good I'll probably get the one with the least amount of wax worms since they are just balls of fat. And I don't like the idea of feeding him too many mealworms, which can go to my other reptiles.

did you order any bugs from the website you posted a link to? @Roger.bowen if so, what did you get?
I order the lazy lizard, I got
1000 crickets
1000 mealworms(gecko)
10 silkworm(ended up being to big for chameleon)
10 hornworms(too big as well)
10 butter worms(too big as well)
I ordered the smallest size for all the worms but they were still to big
Still trying to figure out good feeder with higher fat to plump up my Cham. They also have to be small. I tried getting phenoix worms but they were sold out

My chameleon won't eat dubias so I raise silkworms, hornworms and crickets for him. Let me know if you need small hornworms or silkworms. I usually have plenty.
