Guessing first pic is female, second male. Doesn't seem to matter the locale, the young are all very similar!

How are you sexing them--by the tail?

I agree with Bob too about the sex....that being judged by the tail.

Yes they do grow a bit slowly! I got 3 that are almost 5 months that aren't a lot bigger than the 2 that are 7 weeks- just way more chunky. I think the older 3 didn't get enough attention before I acquired them. The younger 2 are growing decently. How old are yours now?
The tail confirmed my suspicions about color differences between the sexes. Males seem to be greener with a more prominent diamond pattern, females less color, less prominent diamond pattern and more prominent white lateral line. With the older group my females facial pattern seems to be white, while the males have dark or dark red patterning.
