Thawed out pinky mice?

Will my cham accept a frozen pinky that has been thawed out? He's a 13 month old male veiled.

I heard you can swing it a bit or give it a jiggle? lol I know you can with leopard geckos so I was wondering about my cham might give him one as a treat.

Having fed my male pinkies from time to time (not very often) I have to say that he wants his beef moving. He watches it, probably to decide if it is food. If it doesn't move he loses interest quickly.

Since chams can get gout from eating pinkies, I would say that it isn't worth getting them frozen. There are plenty of other tasty bug/veggie treats out there to feed them.

Pinkys are ok seldomly.I have been thinking about offering a pinky to my females (panthers) after egg laying, for the calcium and fat. Anyone have thoughts on that?

That is a good use of them as long as your females are good size. 1 after laying won't give them gout.
