Don't mix together

First off, do NOT mix your Ca with your vitamins. There is degradation of certain vitamins/minerals. Can't link to the definitive info but will get it and post later.

How old is he? 5 months? (sorry, forgot already) Ca/d3 2-3x/week vitamins not more than 1x/week (if I have his age correct. But you are much better off depending on good gutload for your feeders in order to get balanced nutrition into your cham. If no one has linked you to this article - check it out (and others on the site - one of the best resources online) gutload

i have never really gut loaded my crickets properly for my dragons, but now that i have a much more delicate animal, i think i should start. I read that article that you linked to lele, thank you very much.

What diet in your opinion is best for veilds. I read that alfalfa is very good, and the article also mentioned using fish for protein. Would canned tuna ( in water ) work well to gutload crickets?

What do you reccommend for carbs? maybe bananna? apple? it seems like i need to work hard to create such a buffet for my crickets so they are the most healthy i can get them! Who thought being a chameleon lover would turn one into being a cricket expert! anywhoo...

sodium and potassium? how much do i need? and what do i need to get it? The article said that too much can be harmful, so what is the reccommended mixture?

thanks all for your patience and passing on your wizdom!!!

I spend more time preparing food for insects then for anyone else in the house.

Brad, that made my day:D Thank you for bringing a moment of laughter into my dull, dull life.

As for the Vitamins, do as they say and go with d-3 3x per week. And Vits. once per week. Oh well, i'm off to cleen up another mess, my brother pulled the salt shaker move and just barely left the caps on my supplements. I hope the cops don't come and look in my room cuz the supplements look like something else, and its all over my room.
