Supplement Schedule?

Yesterday I called the wonderful people at screameleons about my supplement diet and they said for my 4 1/2 month old blue-barred waldo that I should give him herptivite every other day along with calcium with d3. I heard that I'm only supposed to use herptivite on a cham of his age only once every two weeks and calcium with d3 every once a week also and use calcium without d3 every other day. This is confusing. So If you guys can help me out with my supplement schedule.

mine is about the same age as yours and my schedule goes as follows. Remember though, that everyone has their own way of doing things and if the end result is the same(healthy chameleon), then so be it.

cal w/d3 2x week
cal w/o d3 3x week
herptivite 1x week
No supplement on Sunday

What individuals do for supplements varies. When determining what to do for supplements, One has to consider how well one is gut loading and what one is feeding to the cham, how much real sunlight it gets, age of the cham, gender, etc. So you are going to get a range of answers!

I use calcium on the morning prey item, everyday, plus whenever the prey item is crickets - so up to twice a day for calcium
Calcium with D3 is used once to twice a month.
Vitamin supplements are used once a month in summer, twice a month in winter (this reflects that the range of feeders I offer in winter is reduced somewhat).

If you can't get a handle on supplementation , you can opt for an all in one type supplement . Zoomed makes reptivite with D3. It is formulated as a daily dust .

I prefer to use repcal calcium, calcium withD3 and Herptivite and minerall O. This allows you to tweeak or customize the supplementation , as Sandra mentioned earlier.

But if it is an overwhelming issue , then the all in one may be your solution.

Oh, man!
I'll show you mu supplement schedule.
It's constantly being changed, revised, and new supplements being added.
Their really isn't a schedule, but here is goes.

At most feedings I use a RepCals phosphorus free calcium without D3.
I also will substitute the phosphorus free calcium without D3 with MinerAll (o).
One time per month I use RepCals phosphorous free calcium with D3.
Somewhere in the first week of the month I use Herptivite one time.
In the middle of the month I use Sandfires T-Rex Chameleon Formula.(occasionally switched out with Reptivite)
Right now I'm trying out Nekton at the end of the month.
If I can remember, then I will dust with ground up bee pollen one time per month.

*edit*
As a side note, I only dust two-three feeders with vitamins per feeding.

I use the same sups . It is nice to be able to cut back on only what needs to be cut back on.

I have a 4 month old Ambanja Panther and I use calcium without D3 (zoomed) every other day, multivitamin (herptivite, repcal), and calcium with D3 (repcal) once per month.
I'm also confused as to weather I'm supposed to adjust this as he gets older and what are the signs to tell you weather you are over/under using a certain supp.?
