could i get some udjustments on my suplementaion routine if needed? thanks!

this is what i feed my 5-6 month old Jacksons Chameleon.

Crickets, horn worms ( un punchured, and not dusted ) , wax worms ( not dusted).

The crickets I dust every day but sunday. I have to edmit i dist every single one, i used to dust them heavaly buy, now i go lighter.

5 days I dust the crickets with Rap_Cal ( with vit D3) .

the 6th day i dust all crickets with Reptavive.

sunday- no dusting.

As for the worms, i give them to Leelo as treats. 2 - 3 a day, horn worms i give for about three days one week, one the next week i dont. That week i dont give him horn worms i give him wax worms.

every now and then i run out of crickets, so i give him wax worms only. but thats for a day or two max.

Am I over suplementing?

Leelo seams fine, he hunts, and eats about 3-4 very large crickets a day. i take him out side when its not too warm ( wich isnt very much) , he shoots at any thing that moves when he out side. I watch leelo every second when out side, cuzz i put him in an uncaged ficus big bonsai tree.

Only dust everyother time that your feed him and only use the D3 twice a month. Jann

Jann's sugestion is what I would use for an adult.

You are over suplimenting with D3. 5 Days is too much. For a baby or juvi I sup with d3 twice a week if they are not outside very often. Only dust a few feeders and make sure they are only lightly dusted. No Ghost crickets.

Herptivite (multivitamin with beta-carotene) - Mondays and Thursdays

Rep-Cal Calcium (w/vitamin D3) - Tuesdays and Fridays

Miner-All (calcium NO/D3 with essential trace minerals) - Wednesdays and Saturdays

No food or Sup on Sunday

I forgot to add, leelo shed his tail only one day, then a couple of days his chin, he seams to be shedding diffrent body parts. i beleave this is normal.

I have not noticed any swelling of his jaw, like what others describe when over suplamenting.

thanks for adjusting my suplenetaion routine. i will make all changes starting today. I do not own miner-all , should i order Miner-all I or minerall- all II. i dont remeber wich had D3 and witch dosent.
