Super Worms!

Sooo i bought some super worms after getting advice from you guys in a previous thread. (the advice given was to feed cham. various foods, so far i am feeding him silk worms, crickets and Super Worms. the super worms are new to his diet.)

so yeah i just started to feed him super worms the other day and he wll not eat them. i was told that it may take time for chams. to get used to new food but when i first fed him silk worms he ate them like he eaten them before (but it was his first time) and the super worms he ignored them...! i am cup feeding him right now, and i added crickets and super worms he ate all the crickets and left the super worms in there! all the ones i added too! today he ate his first one. i took it out of the cup and made the super worm climb a branch inside the cage, the cham. went after it and ate it! i took out a few more and hoped he did the same but he did not! once again he ignored them. a few minutes later i saw him going after the worm and he was about 3 inches away and he still kept getting closer to the worm. all of the sudden he stopped and started to walk backwards away from the worm, the worm was comming towards it... even though he had more than enough time to eat the worm he did not why?

maybe he does not like them?

or does he need more time?

Try hanging one on the screen. The supers climb around and the movement makes them go crazy, at least in my experience.

thats what i did :] and that was the worm he went after.. i could of sworn they look like they were playing tag hmm if any worms fall into the soil of my plants will they cause damage???:/ you know will they eat the roots or anything like that?

No, but I've dug up an old plant to find a large super living in the soil. If they fall off the screen they should just end up on the pvc then climb back up the screen.

Ok so it is safe for the plants correct... hmm about howlong will it take for the cham to get used to eating super worms? by the way are super worms high in water... (liquids)
