Sugar Glider

Awwwwww their so cute! I wanted one but i read there realy messy and they just pee on you so i thought i would give that a miss lol soooo cute tho:)

They are very time consuming. All and all she is very cool and clean. I wasnt real keen on the whole sugar glider idea, but my wife wanted one. She researched for a whole year. I tried to keep quiet but she had her mind set. We went to the Reptile Super Show 2012 in myrtle beach (we live here) and saw a marmoset that was cool.

She didn't like the marmoset so much. The next week we got the sugar glider from a local breeder. The rest is history:D

I didn't know you were married to supergirl - she looks as though she likes the marmoset quite a lot :)
Good to know little Snookie is still doing well :)

Yeah, she liked the marmoset but not $3,500 much. Snookie is pretty cool though. I like her more than I thought I would. :)

Gliders are good but they are much happier and content with one another they are communal critters and very social and that must be acknowledged , Most should be kept in pairs at minimum typically.Taking care of one or 3 you wouldnt even know the difference. I miss my girls, but I sure dont miss them wheels spinning all night long lol. Jumping from chameleon cage to cage.

Snookie looks great BTW and good job training her.

are sugar gliders particularly tame? I'd like 1 if they're nice and friendly

There is a lot to learn on them. I was thinking about getting one but if you only get one they need at least 4 hours a day of interaction. They are very social animals, can't be potty trained (except the rag method shown on the video) and bark a lot at night lol.

This lady has 10+ videos on gliders. I would recommend viewing them before purchasing a glider. It seems like they are harder to care for than a child lol.

At least 4 hrs, ha!! She stays stuck to my wife all day and night. Guess what, she still barks. She is a very rewarding critter. She seems to have bonded with both of us very well. My wife keeps a piece of one of my old white tank tops in her pouch to give her my scent. Every now and then when I come home from the gym I'll rub the piece around my neck to get my scent back on it. Seems to have worked like a charm. They are a lot of work though. Research Research Research that all I have to say.

No matter what I say about how much care they take, it is in the back of my mind screaming "Get one!"

After college, I am getting a few for sure. I love the morphs they have!

Love suggies I have two of my own and a new parent with them as we'll :) my female is beautiful but my male is Crazy and very wild.

She goes everywhere with us walmart, dinner, shopping, etc. She goes everywhere!! Shes very clean. I have herd all talk about flinging poop and peeing everywhere. Sounds like a monkey to me. She is very clean. She also make a certain noise when she has to go. Guess its her way of saying gotta pee and poo. Ahh critters gotta love em. :D

awww, I so badly want one! but I can't imagine I'd be allowed to sneek one into the lab with me at uni, even tucked away under my lab coat lol
