I will be getting my very first panther chameleon this weekend and I am sooo excited. I currently have a 1.5 yr grumpy veiled, but have always wanted a panther. I am getting him from ferretinmyshoes (on the forums) and his sire is Oscar. This little guy hatched on Aug. 16, 2013 so he is just shy of 3 months.
Ferretinmyshoes also happens to be my herp vet, so it should make visits to the vet just that much more fun. I have attached a photo of him about a week ago, and 2 of his sire. 1 with basically resting colors, the other fired up.

I will, of course, post more pics once I get him!

I got my little one today. He is absolutely adorable! I am resisting the urge to bother him any more than needed for now, so he can adjust to his new home. I did however take him out of his home for a few minutes so I could get some pics of him.

Here are my first pics of my awesome Ambilobe Panther:

Though he does not have his colors yet, you can see his bars showing A LOT in these pics:.

I've only had this guy for a day and already he started and almost completed a shed. I took him outside for a few minutes today and he seemed to really like the sun. He quickly relaxed and went to his resting colors. Here are a few pics of him outside.

So cute and looks happy to be outside with you! You will have so much fun with him and he looks like he is going to be gorgoeus.

I took a couple more pics today. It seems that he is growing and getting a little more color every day. Here are a couple of the pics I took today.

im glad you finally got him! my first panther came 3 weeks ago, and he is getting brighter every day! i have an unhealthy obsession with taking pictures of him, though lol.

Sorry dude but I just have to say the pictures when he is on your hairy arms are in my option kinda uncool. I little chameleon climbing though human arm hair just doesn't seem to be pictures that I enjoy seeing.

The other photos are good though. His definitely one cool looking baby though. I wish I got my panther when he was that small. I got mine when he was about 7 months old so much bigger.

Haha, arm hair is just a fact of life. It may not make for an awesome picture, but most of us weren't looking at the arm hair, in case you missed it, there is an adorable little chameleon in that picture. ;)

Bigboss - Didn't your mom ever tell you "if you can't something nice then don't say anything at all"?

In all fairness, he did finish his statement by saying something nice. :D
