i handled skittles for about five minutes a few min. ago, and his colors showed up really nice.. he fell asleep on my finger and when i woke him up to put him back in his cage... he didnt want to leave... i think were in for a wonderful friendship

Is it normal for him to sleep in the day time when his lights are on? He should be very alert, especially while you are holding him. If he sleeps during the day something is usually not right.

it was at night time, i was gunna mist the leaves he was on so i took him out,.. so im pretty sure its normal

I've had to pick up sleepy chams before. It is nice, but then you realize that this animal has no intention of waking up enough to climb off your hand and onto his nighttime perch (at least with my chams:p).

Well, a cham's defense at night is to cling tight to a branch just like any other twig despite wind, rain, disturbance, etc...a good thing, as once they cool off so does their brain function! Don't take it personally and don't expect a cham to behave that way when they are at "operating temperature".
