Show Me Your Jax Cage!

Hi folks, as I've perused this forum and the internet in preparation for getting a Jackson's chameleon, I've noticed a lot of different ways people design their cages to meet Jacksons' specific humidity concerns. Covered sides, mistkings, drippers, non-mesh/screen cages, you name it. (Right now I'm thinking of doing a humidifier connected to cage via PVC pipe. )

I thought it would be neat to get Jax owners on here to post their cage pictures in a single thread to help me/future Jax owners mull over ideas.

(Please let me know if this violates any forum guidelines or should be moved elsewhere.)

Thanks!

I have concluded that the humidifier connected to a tube directly into the cage is only required if you cannot control the humidity of the room the Jackson is in. If you have a dedicated Cham Room, it is better to control the humidity of the room, setting a humidity "floor" of around 55-60%.

I have found that directly pumping in cool mist leads to a pretty nasty bacteria build up on leaves, branches, and vines and I rarely have seen my Jackson sitting directly in the mist.

Here is my Jackson cage, its actually 2 large reptibreezes connected with laudry bag material (the two in the middle)...

Good to know about the bacteria buildup on the humidifier, that is my primary concern. I may just end up having it near the cage to provide that base-case scenario, and let misting/dripper do the rest.

Awesome setup... now that is a home office.
