Does anyone know how to properly care for a schefflera plant when it's indoors in your chams cage? 4 days ago my plant was all bloomed out with new stems coming out with new leaves and high dense foliage areas.. Now look at it. It died, lol.

wow, thats insane, i have never had issues with them surviving.

I replant all of my plants into large planters, leaving them in the planter you bought them in is bad. They can be root bound and die and they need more room and as well as it gets rid of stuff that could be bad form my cham's.
As for care of them, I soak mine down with daily mistings, but also under 6500k lights to promote growth.

I had an umbrella that was really very dead lol all leaves were brown, so i stuck it in the window as zuggie loved this plant and boom 2 months later its like a brand new plant, i drowned it thats why it died and it came back to life :D

I also have no

LUCK with these plants.... frustrating. I need to pull mine out of the cages and combine what I have left and hope for the best.....

So like.. I should change the soil and stuff and put it in a new pot..? And I don't have a "6000k" light..l lol never heard of it

If you have never repotted it and its in the pot you bought it in... YES that would be a strong chance of the reason its in and shape. A 6500k light, is a cfl or tubular fluorescent light that is 6500 kelvin rating and it mimics the sunlight that is between noon and a partly clouded day. They can be bought at lowes/home depot or online etc...

Don't!! It still has a chance! :D

They like their soil to be moist, not wet. Whenever I mist mine during the day, the water naturally drips onto the soil and keeps it moist. Like Wykd said, the pot may be a big reason. Chameleons love these plants, so it would be cool if you could bring it around.
