Hi everyone,
I've already made a few posts here and there as I got set up, and as I began to figure out the foibles of maintaining proper setup, so I thought I'd introduce myself and my new cham!
Sven is an ~5 month old veiled chameleon. He's definitely on the shy side so far, but I've just recently made some alterations to his enclosure that will hopefully make him feel more comfortable.
In case you were wondering, Sven is so named because my almost 2 year old daughter is absolutely enamored with Frozen. When we asked her for her input we jokingly said Sven and she got really excited, so Sven it is, lol.
He's not my first reptile, but he's certainly one of the more interesting ones that I've kept so far. I'm just waiting to finally get to see him eat (we see him drinking all the time, not quite as entertaining though), I had the privilege to intern at a small zoo during college that had a panther chameleon off display that would practically eat out of my hand so hopefully as Sven gets older he'll relax a bit.
