Sadie 3 Month Update With Pictures

My little Sadie baby from Dez is 3 months old today and just finishing a shed. Sadie is Luie & Camille's granddaughter. I can almost see her growing. She weighed 3.2 grams when I got her from Dez 6 weeks ago and she was 20.8 grams yesterday. She's quite a character and I can really see Camille's personality in her. As you can see from her pictures, she's already quite the entertainer. She is an absolute pleasure to care for. I am enjoying every single moment that I have with her.

Shes gorgeous! I love the pic of her looking over her shoulder at the camera and of her sticking her tongue out!

shes so precious. and im glad you were able to get a small piece of camille back.

Excellent pictures! Are you using a red heat lamp or does she just have a reddish tint on her face? Along the edges of her casque, edge above her eyes and back. You said she's 3 months old? She looks huge. I have a 2 month old baby Veiled and I can't see him being that big in another month. To describe how small my Veiled is I can put him in the palm of my hand and close my hand around him. Or from the tip of my index finger to the middle of my knuckle equals his total snout to vent length. Do they grow that fast?

Thank you Suzi and Morgan!

I do not use a red light but the photos were made inside and my camera never does as well inside as it does outside. I'll post a few more pictures of her from a couple weeks ago that were made outside.

I believe that Sadie is about average size for a 3 month old veiled. I try not to over feed her but do give her a large variety of feeders. Have you tried giving your little one worms? Small silkworms and hornworms will put some weight on them fast. You might also want to start a new thread and fill out the Ask For Help Form and post a few pictures of him so the members here can make sure you are doing everything correct.

Here's a few more of Sadie made on Feb. 19th.

And another showing her personality. She will lay in her feeder cup to bask outside.

Also a little video of her having some Phoenix worms.

Jann such beautiful pictures! Sadie sure is a bright light of happiness. I think Dez needs to send pictures of all the babies so we can see how much they have all grown!:)

Thank you for all the kind compliments on my little Sadie.

Dez, Sadie's siblings are all gorgeous. Thank you for posting them. I'm going to have to start feeding Sadie a tad more since she's now the smallest of the bunch. I've been worried about over feeding her. Tomorrow she'll get an extra silkworm. :)
