Sad day

So I ordered 2 female carpet chameleons one long term WC one captive bred, they arrived probably 20 minutes ago and I found one deceased in the packaging, I have a feeling she over heated since the heat pack was directly on top of her deli cup and she looked like she tried to bury herself in the moist moss that was in the cup poor girl.

I feel the worst for her, it's the part I hate about shipping I've had great success with shipping in the past. Hopefully it never happens again

It probably wasn't the shipping that killed her, she probably had other issues. I am far from an expert especially In carpets, but I have shipped a lot of chams and have never had one die. (Knock on wood)

I'm not a expert on shipping for sure I've never actually shipped reptiles only had them shipped to me i just guessed from the observation I had made.


It does stink but yes he was great sent me back a full refund plus covered part of the shipping even though both came in the same container. He did make it right witch is always greatly appreciated

Sorry for your loss. I went through something similar with one of my panther girls and know how terrible it can be...

I just hate you feel likes it your fault for purchasing them if you didn't they wouldn't have been put in that sitchuation. i dont know maybe I'm just weird like that but I think of my chams as little children.
