Rex update

Haven't done an update on Rex in awhile so here. I was weighing him wrong before.

His red's are really poppin.

Nice. Is he an Oustalet's? I'm just wondering-how much bigger is he than, say, your average adult T. j. xantholophus?

Yeah, just say he could have ate my 7 month old jacksons. He is 22inches.

Wow, Rex is a monster! What does he usually eat? Crickets, Dubia, that occasional bird flying by?

Criks, supers, mealies, hornworms, waxworms.

Grasshoppers and cicadas if i can find them.

Out of curiosity, where did you get Rex? I've been looking for an Oustalet's for the past few months that isn't a WC adult, but I've had no luck.

I got Rex from a cb born clutch almost a year and a half ago. A guy was studying ousties in florida and brought in a gravid female who laided. Techinally Rex was born in captivity. If you want my advise dont buy a wc oustie, they are full of parasites. Chameleon cans has some cb babys and check flchams and kingsnake.

Sweet, definitely looking into Chameleon Cans. I guess they don't properly index their site, as it never showed up on Google while searching for CB Oustalet's. Thanks for the recommendation!
