I am new to reptiles, having gotten a cornsnake earlier this summer. His past is unknown, he was found in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, as a stray under a gentleman's front step. He has settled in quite nicely and is one if the friendliest snakes I've ever met. His name is Genghis Corn.

It was my intention to get a trio of Gold Dust Day Geckos, but wasn't able to find a cb source in Canada. A friend gave me a day old, and three day old Crestie as well as a pair of Exo Terras. Mike and Larry are doing well, but I don't see them out and about very often.

I also gave a Moluccan Cockatoo named Georgie, a Border Collie and cat. I think for now the zoo is full.

So far all the tanks are planted, the snake is in a 36x18x18 exo terra, with bromeliads, Buddhist Pine, dracaena and a money tree. So far he has been pretty kind to the plants.

They keep me busy, but it's worth it. All the reptile tanks are setup with a mist king system. I'm still tweaking the settings, but so far one pump is sending to three tanks, each with different watering and humidity needs. With multiple nozzles in the higher humidity tank and barrel valves in the lower humidity tanks, the values are all with happy ranges for all the creatures.

While some of the pets are more hands off and less interactive, tank setup and maintenance seems to make up for that ;)

Very cool! I love my little Corn Snake. I fed it for the first time Sunday night and it took it right away, of course it wasn't fed for two weeks so it got a full belly! It's crazy how they can fit such a big mouse in their tiny head! I love your setups! I hope to get some new setups when I move into the new house in a month. How old are your cresties now? I haven't heard of anyone giving away a crested gecko after it was just hatched out. Definitely amazing creatures!

The cresties are about two weeks old now. The first decided to hatch the day she was moving. She gave it to me as it was easier to setup a tank in an established home, than amidst her chaos. I got the second and they were the only two to hatch early. The rest hatched after she was again setup and established.
