Hi guys,

I just wanted to confirm that this product "Repashy Calcium Plus" is okay to use daily for my chams calcium and vitamin needs combined. It does have the calcium of course and vitamins, but am wondering, on top of this) do I still need to use a different supplement for the Vitamin D3 a few times a month? Thanks a lot. :)

Everything that i have been told is that it is a all in one replacement for Cal, Cal w/D3 and multi-Vitamin and it is to be used with every feeding. Enjoy

Same here im currently using this as well and I can say I have seen my ambilobe a lot healthier then when I first got him. Will update futher results in a month.

as stated in the cardboard thread. i have switched to Rep's Calcium Plus ICB to each feeding with my veiled chameleon. results along with gutloading, have really increased her activity and enhanced her color a lot. Kiwi is even more neon now lol.

Aside from it being a great product, it should still be used accordingly and with precaution due to the species. I have not switched my K. Multi to it, because of the vulnerability they have to over-supplimenting. and as ALL of my reptiles get the same gut loaded insects, the consumption of the suppliment amount should be used to your own discretion.

i also use it consistently with my Rainbow Amieva (havent noticed any difference) and Leopard Gecko (i'm kind of weary on it, it seems to decrease her appetite, but it may also be the smell. my leopard gecko will smell and lick the food and turn away from it. unless she is really hungry or its a cricket, she doesn't seem to interested in the Calcium Plus)

Very cool, thanks you guys...I thought this was too good to be true, but alas!....Oh, and I think it smells sorda good, like 'banana-ish'. Maybe I'm just strange....:) Now if only I could get his appetite back up we'll be good!...

no I thought it smelled pretty good too :)

I have noticed a higher activity rate with my male veiled as well on it...

Repashy

Repashy is what is being recommemded. It takes away the scheduling of this vitamin twice a week or this suppliment twice a month. It is to be used daily. The kammers did some testing with this product and that is what they recommend.

Just wanted to note:

i will be starting to try the ICB on pygmy chameleons. i have one that is a year and some odd months old.

because it is a 3-in-1 supplement, i will be dusting feeders only once a week and see how he does. if i notice any changes, he will be back on regular scheduals. i'll let you know how it goes with him.

i've also used it every feeding with a veiled

and i've used it every couple feedings with my multituberculata. (he eats only a couple days a week) and seems to do be doing perfectly fine with it.

switched my leopard gecko to it to, but i'm not sure she is fond of the smell. crazy girl, it smells like bannanas lol

probably the product is too new to know anything for sure.
You might try it in moderation and let us all know how it goes. We'll need a year of different people using different amounts with the same species to have a true indication of what's good.

I am leaving most of my animals on their normal routines (Rep-cal and sticky tongues).
But I've just switched one male panther to using the Repashy all in one supplement about twice weekly (with occassional additional use of plain calicum). In six - 12 months I'll make a decision as to what I prefer. Since I didnt use any preformed A before, this is a big departure for me. Im very interested in the results.

Iv had my chams on it for a month and a half now and thier eating more than ever! They seem to love it

Arnt you soposed to use it every feeding or am I wrong?

Just to clarify a few things.

Calcium Plus is not new, it has been on the market for 10 years. It is sort of new to the Chameleon Community, so that's where the confusion comes in. It has been tested extensively by the Kammers for daily use with Panther chameleons and they have endorsed and recommend it as all you need.....

But just because it has proven to work as a daily supplement for Panthers, doesn't mean it will work that way with more sensitive species such as Montane Chameleons.

It is not that it isn't suitable as an all in one solution, what we need to figure out is if an adjustment is necessary to the usage rate.... meaning using it less often, such as once every other feeding..... once a week, etc.

Trials and feedback from the folks here who take the time to help others, will eventually give us the answers we are all looking for.

I'm just waiting on my plain Rapashy calcium to run out but I am itching to switch to this! It sounds perfect.

why are you such a genius?

agreed :D:D

I have been using it on my veiled male since 9/14/11, so it has been exaxtly 6 weeks, he has tripled in size(can account for a larger cage as well). His color is vibrant, and his activity level and hunger are high. I use it daily, but sometimes skip a day once a week(just for a slight vitamin break). I use the gutload, the dusting, and the water gel mix. I love repashy products. so easy to use!!
