Just wondering, is there a reason why my young ambanja panther cham (almost 100% its a male) goes really dark green with almost black markings on him? Other times bright green bars and red markings come through. I will try and get pics soon.
his ambient temps are 83 degress and his basking is around 88-90 degrees, humidity is 50-75% (it is mainly around 65%) He is still active, moving around from the basking area to the cooler areas, i would have thought if it was temps he would always be trying to get to the heat? any ideas?
its not above eye level at the moment (just a bit below) but for the moment half his enclosure is sheilded from view to make up for it (he is soon to be positioned high up). He doesnt spend his time in the sheilded half, he is quite curious. Ill place him higher up and see if that helps, thanks for your advice.
