So here is Buddy, my 1.5 year old silver spotted bengal. I catch him all the time sleeping like this. Why he does it who knows, but it can't possibly be comfortable.

My 3 year old Australian stumpy-tailed cattledog doesn't just sleep with me...she sleeps on TOP of me. Cattledogs are described as "velcro dogs" but she takes it to an extreme. Look in the the dictionary under "furry tumor" and you'll see her picture. I am a curled-up side sleeper so she ends up draping herself over hipbones, shoulder, with her nose in my ear. That just can't be comfortable. At least she doesn't drool or snore too much.

That's really her best talent...her electric blanket imitation. Forget herding anything. This dog hides from dropped socks. She was a rescue from NM, most likely bred on some huge ranch to work livestock. She's very lucky they didn't just shoot her once they realized she wasn't going to earn her keep. Still, I'd rather have a spooky ninny dog than one who wants to herd moose!

I had to reformat a little while back and haven't gotten all of my pics back onto the computer. But hope these will do!

Callie (dilute tortie, around 25 years old), Buddy (around 8 months old in picture) and Saber (brown spotted bengal, around 3)

Your cats are gorgeous! 25 YEARS OLD!?!? WOW! Our boy Maxi was 18 and that wasn't enough time.

Thanks! Ya she is still kicking. I see subtle things here and there, but I wouldn't be surrpised if she has another 1-2 years easily. She's the queen bee, no one messes with her.

Is Lynx some type of bengal mix? I see the spotting on his belly. Looks kind of like my Ajay

Outdoor pic. None of mine are indoor/outdoor at all. But in the summer, I put some flea meds on them and take them outside in the backyard for a few hours a couple times a week.

I like to think he is part bobcat :D. Not totally sure of the breed(s) 'cause they are all rescues. The girls are Tabby and Siamese, but not totally sure with the boys.

I don't think he's the right body shape for a bengal, but who knows.

He could be a mix! Never know.

All of mine are rescues except Buddy. I actually foster for a bengal cat rescue.

Glad I don't live closer! I don't think I could handle more than 4  and I couldn't resist. Too cute! As it is, this is taking a long time to write due to Jasmine walking in front of the screen. (Its a touch screen and I think she enjoys moving the stuff around!

Where is your Bengal from? My mom breeds - aluren.com :)

Umm, I'd rather not say. I had a very poor experience with them. And I think they are no longer breeding. I'll likely never purchase another cat again from this. Rescues are just fine with me! Surprisingly the rescue I work with only has 3 cats available now. We had over 20 in June. It isn't kitten season yet though.

Your mom has some amazing bengals though!

Sorry you had a bad experience. Probably not members in good standing with TICA... or any other Bengal breeders, as they are a pretty close-knit group.

You don't often see the Silvers... my mom has a waiting list for them.
