Thanks Socalison!
Yeah I wish we could have gotten them... it would have been fun. The crowds were kinda thick the first day so if someone was bending down and "covered" by his friends carrying those big t-rex bags it would have been hard to see them doing it. personally, I think that the metal screen made too much noise, more than what they expected when they were trying to cut it open so they "walked" on it. Good thing about metal... it's not like nylon screens.

And about your cage slashing..... The next show I go to I am going to wear my steel toe work boots. That way when I see someone trying to break into a cage I can give them a preview of what happens when you drop the soap. I don't think I would hesitate.

We had a great time at the show. Thanks for all that came by and said hello! I think that I knocked a few bucks off things for all the cham forum members that let me know who they were. If I did not sorry about that! Let me know at the NARBC show and ill hook yea up. Here are a few pics..
Studly the dragon would not stay in his box so this is where he rode for most of the 6 hours ![]() Happy that the booth is all done… Woo Hoo! ![]() The cham section. ![]() Da Crew… A BIG thank you to Kent for helping out. And this guy that kept on coming over… I think his name was like Lary? BIG thanks to Mike too… ![]() Now we gotta start getting ready for NARBC! ![]() Oh also... A photographer came by the booth and railed off some really nice shots… Here are a few. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Looks like a pissed pig.

![]() It was really cool to meet everyone from the forum! Well, almost everyone. I still never managed to actually see Jeweledchameleon. :-) We weren't the only ones, though. I'm hearing the same from several vendors about them not being able to see us. I'm still amazed that we didn't get a chance to see every booth, but as sure as shootin', every time I walked away when it slowed down, I would come back and my wife would have the "deer in the headlights look" as she was talking to someone. We learned a lot from our first show and did well despite our inexperience. One thing's for sure, spend $40 at Wal Mart for the Stanley squirrel cage blower! It moves a lot of air and was worth $400 when you're sweaty or next to an invertibrate guy with a really stinky box o' bugs. Chad and I can do a really cool "inflatable crazy arms guy" impression, too! It was really cool to hear all of the positive feedback from a couple of the top names in the cham industry, too. One breeder called my Screen Cage Adapter "pure genius" when he saw it. I also learned a lot from a dart frog rancher. Funny stuff, there, too!!! Fun-neeee! There are still a lot of people who don't trust misting systems or pumps due to bad experiences with a certain pump. I was amazed at the number of people who thought you couldn't mist for more than five minutes with any pump because of that crappy piston one. One new customer actually said "Well, now I have to buy an alarm clock since this pump is so quiet!" ![]() ![]()
