Welcome to the forum-

Here's the best place to start
https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/chameleons/

(no substrate) - check mist king or aquazamp for misters (they are sponsors and the best) - stay away from monsoon - (you can do a search and find out how many of us had problems with them)
Care is different depending on what kind of chameleon you get- do some research before you buy anything but have your set up together and tested you'll save a bunch - good luck -

My monsoon stopped working properly after the first month I had it - soaking everything and not coming on - I put it on a new timer and it worked alright for a while longer and then just died- I've had my aquazamp for over a year without any problems - there were other members at the time who were on their 2nd or 3rd replacements of the monsoon- The only problem I've ever read about with the other two is clogged nozzles - the pumps are better made- and if they run dry all you have to do is worry about re priming the pump not them burning out.

I've not even got my chameleon yet, but i'm building my collection slowly.

I've already got the enclosure, lights, timers, thermometer/hygrometers and decorations.

Also bought a MistKing two weeks ago which arrived very quickly considering I'm in the UK, it cost be about £160 including the import fees. I did a lot of research on it and also the Monsoon and found the MistKing to be the better investment and it's only £20 more than the Monsoon (UK price for the Monsoon is £140).

I'd say take your time and get everything perfect before buying your cham.

Yes I do agree I have had problems with my one monsoon. The company however has sent me two new ones as they know there was an issue. So I had my dad take a look them and he found the problem and fixed it. So I have an extra one on hand, its free so I"m using it. But that was last year and no problems since. With as many cages as I'm now having would be wise to have a mistking.
