What type of file should I download pics to this sight under? Bitmap? TIFF?

I always just use "bmp" and "gif". Not really the most computer literate person. I am not sure that this forum will take the ones you said.

When you are posting a reply look up. There is a paperclip, called managing your attachements. When you double click another box will appear. The mid to lower portion shows the biggest sizes they except for each different type. Now if you want to load a picture onto an existing thread you can hit the browse button. Select the picture you want and the upload it. Close the screen. Hit the paper clip again and then you should be able to select the picture.

I guess BMP is a Bitmap. See what I am saying I am not a computer person.

I had to make my pic smaller in pixel size. It was too large a file. Thanks got it figured out for now I think. LOL

I think you are asking what file extension is preferred when uploading to the Chameleon Forums. Many extensions are accepted, but I recommend jpeg (.jpg).
