panther that loves being out !

does any one else have a cham that hates when you put them back in their cage. my panther seeems to get outdoor anxiety when i try and put him back in his cage. he wants to be out and running aroung on my scheffelera tree or in my 7 ft pothos hanging ivy. should i just let him do as he wants ? ? ? he seems much happier being out and not caged up. my cage is a 2 x 2 x 3 all screen cage with a live scheffelera and many sticks and branches to explore. i just dont want him to be unhappy thats all.

If you can free range they love it. How old is your Cham? 2x2x3 may be a little small for him. I use 2x2x4 for my older Panthers.

I would definetly say his cage is a little small. That may be why he wants to be out so bad.

I always think if it this way - Now you have a good size cage for a smaller Chameleon. Time to start shopping.

im guessing that a cham likes more vertical room than horizional, but over all more room for the older ones ?

pardon me, Jeremy. But, your panther nose looked weird.. it almost shaped like a veiled.
I've never seen one like that before.
Is he always like that from birth?

My little guy hates all cages.....even his 4ft wide x 12ft high x 8ft long that we have on the screened back porch......he even begs to get out of that. I've been just allowing him to roam around when I'm home to keep an eye on him.
