I know I recently put up a thread asking about feeding anoles to my veiled but I decided against doing that. I went to go grab some crickets today and saw an anole for sale that was skin and bones. It's a green anole who is black in color and was nearly drowning in a water dish. I bought him. It's a lil boy. He's full grown and I am trying to decide what to do. I live in fl where anoles are everywhere. Should I nurse him back and let him go or let him go and hope he makes it? I rescued him so far from that torture chamber just don't kno what to do next. I named him ollie by the way hence the title

idk mich about anoles but start misting him and if he's strong enough give him some crikets ect untill its better. if it does ok mabey you can put it in the wild. idk. better if you kept it as a pet.

Seeing that they are wild in Florida then I would just let him go when you feel he is healthy enough to survive on his own.. It is probably where he came from in the first place!

Lil Ollie let me take him outside to bask and charge the old battery. Prolly Hasent had sun in forever. Charged him up and tickled his face with a small cricket and he happily gobbled it up. Put him in my old cham enclosure I had laying around. He drank some water too. Post a picture later of him. He looks like the scare crow off the wizard of oz he is just so skinny. I'm gonna set him free once he puts on some weight
