New species Kinyongia vanheygeni

Just for the Kinyongia fans, a new species was described by Petr Necas, it's called after the discoverer Van Heygen
Maybe Chris could give here more infos. They are from the Poroto mountains
There is also another new one, called Kinyongia boehmi, maybe sb has some pics of them

Actually Kinyongia boehmei was described in 2002. The other new species is Kinyongia asheorum which is from Northern Kenya on Mt. Nyiro. Both K. asheorum and K. vanheygeni are horned species and the K. asheorum has some incredible scalation on the crests of its skull. Very interesting animals.

Just to let everyone know, Petr Necas has just joined Chameleonforums (his user name is PetNcs: http://www.chameleonforums.com/members/PetNcs/). In addition to his other contributions to the chameleon world, he described Kinyongia vanheygeni but because he just registered to the forum, he can not post on this thread. He PMed me to ask that I let you all know that if you are interested in a pdf of the description, you can contact him with your email address and he will send it to you via email.

Chris
