New rescue

Rescued a very pitiful looking green anole today. Poor little thing is so skinny and dehydrated and weak. Any suggestions on how to help this little one? I gave "him" a warm shower and tried to feed him but he wouldn't eat. Got him to drink a drop of reptaid I put on his nose. He seemed hungry this morning at the pet store so he may eat tomorrow. Don't think he likes my roaches though

So you got him at the pet store? That's what I understood. That doesn't sound good :( I really hope you do your best for him! There has got to be some experienced members on this.

Yeah I work at a pet store on the weekend selling pet fod and this one always has very sick reptiles. Everytime I go there is one I want to save but they are always too expensive. I talked to the manager after seeing this little guy and she gave me 30% off. Another associate when I asked her to grab the sick one for me she replies "which one" and said there are always sick ones and there were 3 others but they died yesterday I heard from the manager. I also noticed a dead long tailed grass lizard in there.

probably small crickets may get him eating, or waxworms. May try handfeeding him [squashed worm with repashy mix?],they usually open their monty when you hold them.

I'm going to try phoenix worms, but the store doesn't open until tomorrow so I have to wait. I'm gonna see if I can get some roaches into his mouth in the mean time.
