Hi guys, new to chameleon forum but not new to forums. First as introduction, like the heading says, from Louisiana, recently purchased a Jackson's chameleon from repticon. I've always wanted one and recently my daughter gained interest also, she's 17 so not letting a child have a chameleon, she's still pretty scared oh him which is good because she doesn't want to hold him. So we did some research and waited till a reptile show came close. Our new friend is named Thanos, not sure of his age but he is not a baby, I didn't want a baby chameleon.
I have done a lot of searching on here and learned a lot more than I thought I knew. I've been researching a lot of plants that are safe for his habitat, time of lighting, watering and feeding, how things should be placed in the habitat. My favorite was watching him drink after I learned how to properly set up the driper.
It's been almost a week since I brought him home and after looking at all of the different habitats on here I really want to start building one soon.
You guys are great and very creative and I look forward to learning more and will get pictures on here as soon as I figure out how to upload from my iPad. It's pretty late and I'm sure I left out some info but if you want to know just ask. Thanks for reading
