I have named him Oliver, so I call him and Olive the... O's :p
he is doing well, settling in, and eating - but still shy- lol this is what he did at feeding time this AM - he is willing to eat, but does not like you "in his face" - and I WILL NOT HAND FEED roaches  , so I came up w/ this..its a roach stuck on a zip- we are both happy, the roach is far from me, and I am far from Oliver :D it can not get off, but when he shoots it, it comes right off ;) plus it lets my place the roach deep in the cage without disturbing or scaring him, so my new "tool" is working well :D

So you feed roach ciclies? How do you get the roach on the stick?looks like a great idea.

I pin it down, and give him a zip tie enema - lol I use LONGGGGGG tweezers to catch it and hold it still - after reading a post of how a cham almost punched a roach thew a pair of tongs, I could just see the damn thing landing on my head! so this way I can feed it "over head" and dont have to worry about it getting on me- lol :p
