New girl, rescue

The other week I found an ad online for a female veiled. In the pictures she looked young, healthy and vibrant. The ad also came with two 18x18x36 mesh enclosures. I decided to go for it even though he was asking a bit much. When he dropped her off I noticed some large burns to her side, spinal ridge and the top of her casque. She is also quite overweight and missing multiple nails. I asked her what her diet consisted of and he replied "only super worms, that's all she will eat." So that is likely what causes her over weight state. So I was pretty upset that he was asking so much, especially for an older and in bad condition female veiled chameleon. But I couldn't back down now that I had seen her. I handed over his crappy money and got her set up. She still doesn't have a name but I'm working on it! Anyhoo, here are some photos, some may cause queasiness.

And just thought I would throw this in here. Decided to style my next chameleon's enclosure a little differently. I will ad plants when I know the arrival date of that said chameleon.

She is very pretty. I love her coloring. I am glad you took her in and will clearly give her better care than she has had. Those are some nasty burns but they look clean. I hope they heal without issue.

Thank you both! She is doing really well with me, though she's a stubborn drinker and very feisty when I have to reach my hand in to the enclosure for spot cleaning and food.

She is beautiful. Thank you for giving her a kind and loving home. Hopefully with time and lots of love she will become friendly.

She has an adorable face!

Thank you for taking her in and providing her with the TLC she needs!

p.s. your cage looks awesome, its like a jungle gym for Chameleons!

Poor little girl. At least she will have a better life now. Once she's settled down, I'm sure she will like you better! It is St. Patricks Day, so maybe an Irish based name?

On the floor of the new style enclosure you shared, what do you have on the base flooring and what is that circle thing?

Im glad to see she is with someone with some sense. We know you will take care of her. Nice bamboo layout but the bamboo with grow bacterial over time did you polyurethane the rods?

God bless for taking her in. If you would not have spent that money she probably would have died with the person that apparently didn't care for her.
Thanks you
