The New Girl

Hello everyone!
I have some very exciting news. Today I adopted a 1.5 year old female Ambilobe panther chameleon. She hadn't gotten the best care from her previous owner, yet thankfully she does not show any signs of metabolic bone disease. She was fed only crickets all of her life and they were dusted very sporadically. She has apparently not laid an infertile clutch her entire life which I was a little surprised about but is not unheard of. Once she is settled in I will expose a male to her to see if she shows any signs of being gravid. I already have a lay bin at the ready in case she is, though I expect not since she is not plump when calm. I tried to give her a stick bug but I don't think she has any clue what it is. In fact as I speak she is literally standing on top of it.
She is my first female chameleon so I am very excited to watch how she differentiates from my males. I am already obsessed with her and can't lay my eyes off her cute itsy bitsy self.
I have not named her yet (and she did not come with a name) so any suggestions are welcome, though I think I want to stick with a comic book/ star wars theme.

Travis she is gorgeous! What a stunning gal, what a SCORE!! You will do great with her and she will soon know what proper love and care is!! Can't wait to meet her!

Thank you all for the warm comments. She seems to be adjusting great. She ate 7 crickets yesterday and weighed in at 68 grams.
I believe I have decided on a name. I'm going to keep it a surprise for her next photo thread, so stay tuned!
