There's a forum member SCNARY that is local to me and he is making a dry gut load for your feeders that is made with 100% organic ingredients! It's called "Bug Buffett" and it actually smells good enough to eat yourself!
I've been free feeding it to my feeders and they gobble it up! He can be found here in the forum or on FB,,, check it out, I believe he also ships it!

Thanks Lisa,it has been selling as fast as I can make it!!!! I use only the BEST ingredients and all my bugs eat it up!!!

I also tried Steve's new guy load. My bugs were very, very happy. Within a few minutes the plates were covered with bugs. Those suckers didn't leave the plates until they were clean enough for my husband to eat off of - I knew where they had been.:)

Thanks Laurie!!! I can't make it fast enough!!! Due to the quality of the ingredients it has been a real hit!!!! As you know it is a very high quality gut load I started making for myself and I never dreamed I would be making it for sale. There are many forum members who are using my gut load and ALL have said they love it!!!!

hey, I posted this in another thread, but maybe cause this thread is fresh someone could answer it for me. but is it a "must" to have dry gut load for your crickets? I just give mine turnip greens, collard greens and carrots.

should I add some dry gut load?

thanks in advance, and I am in no way trying to steal the OP's thread. depending on the answer I might try some of the above gut load.

Yes, most of us use both a wet(what you are doing) and a dry gut load( what is being discussed here) Also I use water crystals for water, i don't know what other use.

Just pm me and I will get you the information. I have not had it tested yet but I will soon. I have been using this mix for over a year now and found my insects are very healthy and reproduce well. I looked at the nutrient value of the ingredients and found them to be quite good separately so I feel good about the combination. I would like to mention one error in Lisa's post. Almost all of the ingredients are organic and for human consumption. I do use a 100% natural sun dried alfalfa that is not for human consumption and is not organic. It is however heavily used for animal feed and safe. I also use a few other ingredients that are for human consumption but would not be considered organic. I just want to make sure that the information you have is correct. I started making this just for my own use and never intended on producing it for sale. After getting more and more requests for it I just decided to see what the demand would be and so far it's growing. One other note, I vary a few ingredients from time time depending on what I used in the previous batch.
Thank You all for your interest.
Steve

A big THANK YOU to everyone who has inquired and or ordered my Bug Buffett. Due to the high # of orders I am making another new batch. I always use high quality ingredients and mostly organic. I do not add any chemicals or preservatives as my Bug Buffett is made fresh on a regular basis.I use a base of ingredients in every batch but vary some ingredients to give your bugs a broad variety of beneficial vitamins and nutrients. I have received nothing but positive feedback so far and welcome any and all comments. This batch will be one of the best yet as I am always trying to improve the content. Please see my add in the classified section or pm me for details.
Thank You all!!!
Steve
