Hey guys, i realize this isnt the ideal place for this but i figured maybe some people here could help me out!
so my roommate has a young female corn snake. well i got a call at work today and sure enough the crafty girl escaped in the night. shes not that big yet, maybe 1-1.5 feet but i worry for a couple reasons...
1. my two chameleons are both young and i figure if she can get out of a glass cage, can she get into a screen one and climb up? i mean i know its unlikely but i figure if shes hungry enough... god forbid...
2. ive read these things can survive up to a year in the house, and i really don't want to stumble upon a much bigger snake 8 months later...
3. i also have a small cat, hes damn crafty but so are snakes. and not to mention he is declawed so its not like he could do much
4. my roommate is going mental and its giving me a headache....

please if anyone has had similar exp or can give a word of advice that would really calm my nerves!

How old are your chams? A baby snake like that could only damage to a baby under 4 months. And be warned, declawed cats CAN maim and kill if they want to. Mine does to mice all the time. Check inside the back of your fridge. That is where my corn would usually go. Also under things like an entertainment center and inside the couch.

my young guy is just about 4 months now my older guy is about 6 months . and id rather see my cat take out the snake than that thing touch my boys!
