My silly tortoise

I hope the img thing worked lol I dont know how to post pictures but my tortoise Herman is so funny XD I turn his lights on this morning and walk away and come back to find him outside his cave splayed out like this!! He's so cute.

What type is it? Looks russian,....The shell looks to be in great condition. A good sign of excellent husbandry.

lol,..How long have you had him? Apparently there arent many tortoise fans here. I for one have 2 redfoots and 1 african spurthigh. All 3 are 10 years old. Yours looks great!!

I'm a tortoise fan!! I have 2 giant salcatas, 2 gopher tortoises and 7 box turtles. I heart turtles and tortoises.

We have had him a while almost a year now I've always wanted a salcata and redfoot, I heard redfoots are passionate. I think I'll be Chameleon crazy as I am tortoise crazy, out first tortoise yet I want more! >.<

I have a Sulcata tortoise at home. Her name is speedy. She is close to 50lbs now! Thank goodness we have a large backyard that she can graze in and spend outside all summer long. During the winter, she just roams about the house. Hahaha. I was curious about a 50lb Sulcata would go for? I would NEVER sell her, but I saw little 7 inchers going for 300!!! I can't imagine what she'd be appraised at. She's almost 8 I believe now. We just can't get enough of her antics.

That lizard is about 1.5 feet long nose to vent and that sulcata is only 10 years old. She's not even done growing yet!

I bet salcatas go for a lot!
