My New Jackson's Baby

My husband bought me this guy for Christmas from Pet Smart of all places. I was really surprised how healthy this one was, and they had him in the back, not on display... but all that is a different topic.

I put him outside in the sun yesterday for a little bit and got to take some pics of him. He's really friendly! No name yet...

Does anyone have any idea which locale or species of Jackson's he is? Thanks & I hope you like our photos!!

I love the 'spikes' on his eyes! I didn't notice them until I took this shot.

Fantastic photography! He is quite handsome. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he is a 3-horned Jackson's chameleon... :p :D

Thanks!! LOL - I know little about Jackson's, when I was looking up care sheets, I ran across a few different kinds of them ;)

Are you sure its not a j.j.? I see that yellow lateral stripe along the side and it makes me see that but you are the jacksonii master and not me:D

The double humped dorsal spikes, the roundness of the horns and the size of his scales lead me to believe he is a Xantholophus. The "stripe" looks more like the blotches that are common for juvinile Xantholophus to me. Are you going to pick up a JJ from KS?

Aha! thats why youre action jackson and not me;) No jj's for me. I just acquired a few new species so i had to hold off, but if you can find me a single male cristatus Ill lub you forever and ever:D
