My new cage set up! Tell me what you think

So I just added more vines, perches and a big scheflera to my panthers cage but for some reason Marty always wants to come out and play. Anytime I open the cage he wants to get out and crawl around on me. Is this because he doesn't like his new set up? And I have noticed he likes to hang out right next to the floor of the cage on a branch almost touching the ground, sometimes his tail will be laying on the bottom of the cage. Should I be worried

I'm not completely sure but it might just be his personality. What type of chameleon is it because some types like to get out more than others. I don't think you need to be worried unless he usually doesn't act that way.

Honestly, my Panther LOVES to be held and hang out. I was worried that I would get one that wasn't friendly...but I have the exact opposite problem! He's perfectly fine and happy on his basking spot...until he sees me, then he runs towards the door and clings to it waiting for me to bring him out. He'll walk around and just hang out on a manzanita tree i have for him. I wouldn't worry about..it just sounds like you have a brave/adventurous Cham :)

I wouldnt trip. if he likes to play thats a good thing lol give him some time to adjust to it, looks pretty good. my one chameleon pancake loves this little spot between 3 huge umbrella leaf sections at the bottom and he pokes his little head out its kinda funny. they all just like certain spots, it may be cooler down there and hell go up to bask when he wants. give him a few weeks

Thanks for all the help! It's been a few days now, but he still doesn't crawl Around in the plant much he sticks to the fake vines and Branches I'm not sure why. He is a ambalobe Panther Cham also

Maybe he is just getting used to it. After I added a new umbrella tree mine started spending half the day in it. I used to have a bird ladder in one of my enclosures but I didn't like the way it looked.

Any ideas in my he doesn't hang out in the plant much?

It could be that he just feels really secure and doesn't feel the need to hide amongst the plants. Looks like he's got a lot of trust in you :).

My 6 month panther is still quite wary of me, but he'll hand feed given the right treat and won't rotate away from me as soon as I open the door. Progress is progress haha.
