Hi!
Got a 2 months old veiled female. She is in a exo terra. Humidity is 60-80% all day long and about 80F at her basking spot and 74F lower down in the cage.
My problem is that the bottom of the cage is getting flooded from mostly my misting, I do have a dripper going 2-5 h a day and I got a bowl down in the bottom catching the dripping water. But I guess it is my misting making the cage flooded? I got no substrate any more, I used to have newpaper.
The dilemma is that Im worried that she will get dehydrated if I cut down on misting... (Mist 3-4 times a day). I have already seen some light yellow color in her urine.. What should I do? I cant keep drain her cage on 5liters water.. And Im not in for drilling some sort of drainage holes in the bottom..
What should I do ?
