My live plants have bugs, help please

I have noticed 2 types of bugs developing in my live plants that i have in my enclosures. I washed the plants and changed the soil to organic soil, i then put rocks over the soil and put the plants in my cham cages. In some i have small flying black bugs and in some i have small white flying bugs. Any ideas what i can do to get rid of them and keep them away. can i spray something safely. any help would be great.

Sounds like fungus gnats. There are all sorts of things you can do- the main one is dry your plants out for a bit. Another fun one is to get a type of predatory mite that will eat the gnat larvae.
