My dogs, cat, & parrot

My non chameleon babies.
-Lily is a Pomeranian
-Bella is half Black German Shepherd & Golden Retriever (I HATE it when people ask me if she's half lab..she looks more like a flat coated retriever than a lab)
-Luna is our DSH/Russian blue (We're not sure since she was a throw away kitty)
-Melony is a Sun Conure

Bella won Second Place as Wonder Woman in the costume contest last year. I think she should've won first. She was wearing her cape and everything!

OMFG!!!!!!!! I Love your Sun Conure:eek::eek::D:D:D
She's great, super friendly, almost anyone can hold her and pet her. Quite a ham :)

Aww! They are all beautiful animals!

I think Bella should have won first, too! :)
Thank you! We're trying again this year. *crossing fingers*

Your house is probably never boring :) Really nice animals! Love your parrot
Yup, there's always someone that needs something or to be played with. My niece and nephews think it's a zoo!

They all are beautiful animals and so nice that they all get along so well!!!
Thank you. I wouldn't call my self a trainer if I couldn't get my dogs to respect other animals. They're taught boundaries from day 1 and it's super easy from there. :)

Do you train them like Ceasar Millan? I've done a pretty good job with my wheaten terrier, but she would eat a bird lol she's a little hard headed so we have some things we are working on still...any tips on teaching boundries? lol I"m all ears!

I focus on basic obedience and I'm about to become CGC certified (just for fun)
Most dogs won't need the dog whisperer if they go through basic obedience lol.

I can give you more tips the more I know about her level and behavior.

How good is your dog at "leave it" and "drop it"? Does your dog listen to other basic commands such as; sit, down, stay, stand, crate/place the very FIRST time you ask her? If the answer is yes, then you just need to focus on working on leaving it. If no, she needs to review basic obedience.
Also, does she catch the birds in the yard? Are they in flight? Grounded?
You also need a cotton lead that is 15-30 feet depending on how big your yard is.

Me and my little girl just laughed to tears over bella in that costume. She thought it was the funniest thing ever. Thank you for the pics you have a wonderful group right there :)
