My Cham Guardian

Baxter has declared himself guardian of the chameleon realm since I moved them out of the man cave.

Dang! That 48x24x24 makes that 36x18x18 look like a toy! Vicious cat you got there!

yeah lol it does dwarf the silver one. I am going to do some more enclosure building and automation this weekend. lol Gotta make room for some more cham's!

Yeah that cat is weird... dont even think about touching that bunny. you start reaching for it and you get that reaction. He just lays in front of their cage and watches them. Does not bother or go near them. But let me accidently drop a cricket to the floor... its gone, so no worries about runaway crickies!

your new setup looks great and that cat soooo cute! it's nice to have kids interested in your hobby. my kids love holding my chams except for my little girl, she prefers the babies. it would be nice to have a cat b/c i always have crix escapees. i have glue traps throughout my cham room for them! LOL.

Thanks, yeah that setup is going to grow over the next cpl weeks 2 more 2x2x4 enclosures i need to put together and line up. I have to automate all the drippers and misting water source and drainage etc... I have it all planned out just have to execute now!

That is if Baxter allows me in the room and all!

Yeah not to worried about that... he is really weird. I should get video of him:

he likes water... have to keep the bathroom door closed or he tries to sneak into the shower!he plays fetch sometimes which is funny

So anything a cat would normally do... he doesn't do. lol I have held various anoles etc.. i catch outside in front of him and he would sniff it and walk away. Does not rough house with his little stuffed mice etc.. he cuddles them. /shrug

Also the enclosures are screwed down and siliconed in the seams to provide reinforcement just in case. would take a act of pure evil to crash one of those cages the way i reinforce them.

well thats good then, and im sure ur chams will enjoy the very colorful room
